Cindy has a genuine interest in psychology-related work and she is particularly concerned about mental health wellbeing in the community. Upon receiving her bachelor degree with major in psychology, she studied the Master of Social Sciences (Mental Health) and worked as a specialist teacher in order to enrich her knowledge and clinical experiences in interacting with special educational needs (SEN) students, including children and adolescents with giftedness, ASD, ADHD, special learning difficulties.

Later, Cindy became an Expressive Arts Therapist with 2 years of postgraduate master training. She continued to make use of her experiences combining with Expressive arts therapy to provide individual and group intervention to children, adolescents and adults through the collaboration with schools and NGOs. She is now serving a wider range of individuals, including individual with SEN, while providing parenting and emotional support to parents; individuals with various emotional distresses or interpersonal relationship issues; as well as individuals with mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety.

Meanwhile, Cindy provides online psychological counselling and psychotherapy, as well as involving herself at university as a clinical supervisor and practice consultant for expressive arts therapy students. She also devotes herself in promoting expressive arts therapy in Hong Kong, in order to enhance the psychological health of people by providing adequate psychotherapy services across both online and offline platforms, facilitating a better coping with life challenges.
